A game of Klondike solitaire in progress, with cards laid out in columns.

Why play here?

Most “free” game sites pay for themselves with adverts that jump in the way every few minutes. Ours don’t. We build these games for our own customers and anyone else who wants a quiet game of cards with their coffee.

  • No adverts, ever

No banners, no pop-ups, no videos between rounds. The whole screen is the game.

  • No account needed

Open a game and play. Nothing to sign up for and no email address to hand over.

  • Nothing to install

Every game runs in your web browser. Nothing is downloaded and nothing is left behind on your computer.

  • Deals you can share

Solitaire deals and Bubble Pop boards are numbered, so a good one can be played again — or sent to a friend to try.

The games

Fourteen games — five kinds of solitaire and nine more — plus a picture toy, and more on the way. New games are added, and the ones here get better, all the time.

Klondike solitaire with the tableau half cleared.

Solitaire — five card games in one

Klondike, Spider, Freecell, Pyramid and Golf. The classics, laid out big and clear so the cards are easy to read. Every Klondike deal has a number, so a deal you loved can be dealt again, or handed to somebody else to see if they can beat it. Sign in with a free account if you like, and your wins follow you from one computer to the next.

A match-three board of coloured pebbles.

Pebble Crush

Swap two pebbles side by side to line up three of a colour. They crumble, the pebbles above fall into the gap, and a lucky fall sets off more by itself. Line up four or five and the special pebble left behind takes a whole row with it. Play against the clock, or switch the timer off and relax.

A well of coloured bubbles with an aiming line from the cannon.

Bubble Pop

Aim, fire, and match three of a colour to pop them. Cut a clump loose from the top and the whole lot drops. Bank shots off the walls are where the big scores are. Every board is numbered, so you can replay a good one.

A brick wall with a gap knocked out of it by the ball.

Knock Down

A paddle, a ball and a wall to get rid of — the arcade classic. Exploding bricks, a box that lets more balls out, and walls that turn into pictures as you clear them. Or try the other version, where every brick carries a number and counts down.

  • Two versions
  • Power-ups

Falling blocks filling the floor of a well.

Stack Up

Falling blocks. Turn them, fit them, and a row that goes all the way across disappears. Clear four rows at once and it is worth eight times as much as one at a time — so it pays to be patient.

A full Mahjong solitaire turtle layout of 144 tiles.

Mahjong

Mahjong solitaire: match the free tiles in pairs until the board is clear. Five layouts, from a short warm-up to the full 144-tile turtle, and nine table tops to play on — or put one of the gallery’s photographs underneath. Stuck? Undo and Shuffle are always there.

A Word Wheel crossword grid beside a wheel of letters.

Word Wheel

A crossword with no clues. Every word in the grid is spelled from the letters on the wheel — sweep across them, click them, or just type. Find a word that is not in the grid and it counts as a bonus. Four wheel sizes, from a gentle start to a real brain-stretcher.

A jigsaw puzzle of a landscape photograph, partly put together.

Jigsaw Puzzles

From a quick 12 pieces to a proper 500-piece afternoon. The pictures are real photographs donated by our customers and credited to the people who took them. Or make a puzzle from a photo of your own — your grandkids, your dog, your cottage. Your picture is opened by your own browser and never leaves your computer.

A Loose Ends board of arrows, each line pointing the way it will slide.

Loose Ends

Tap a line and it slides away — unless something is in its road. Work out the order and clear the board. Every puzzle can be solved and there is no way to lose, so it is the perfect game to unwind with. Start with the three-line tutorial.

Bonus: Cartoonize a Picture

Not a game, but a lot of fun. Turn a photograph into a cartoon, a comic panel, a poster or a pencil sketch, then save it. Like the jigsaws, your picture is opened by your own browser and is never uploaded anywhere. And if you just want to look, browse the picture gallery the puzzles are cut from.
